This privacy notice explains how we at Mennabroom Farm B & B and Cottages keep and use any personal information we collect from you.
What information we collect about you:
When you make a booking with us, we collect the names of all the guests who will be staying, and the party leaders address, email and phone number. We also collect their debit/credit card details to enable us to take payment. Once these details have been actioned they are destroyed. Later we shall ask you again for these details to complete payment.
How we use the information we hold:
We use your home address as part of the card processing to validate your card. We use your email address to send you confirmations and details relating to your booking. These emails either come from us direct if you booked offline or Supercontrol, our online booking service for the cottages, or Eviivo for the B&B.
WE DO NOT MAKE CONTACT BY PHONE UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY OR WE WERE UNABLE TO CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL.
How your data is stored:
All of your personal data is stored on either Supercontrol or Eviivo which is controlled by us. This information is not sold or shared by anyone else unless there is a legal reason for doing so.
All credit/debit card information is destroyed as soon as actioned. Therefore you will be contacted again for details to complete the transaction.
We do not send marketing material to our visitors, or sell lists to a third party. Any promotions we have are on our website. By booking with us, you give us permission to communicate with you until the end of the calendar year of which your booking falls.
We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by completing a B&B registration form on arrival. These are stored securely for one year and then destroyed. They can only be seen by local police, if requested.
Access to your information:
You have a right to request a copy of the information we hold. Please email us at [email protected].
