How do I find out about availability? I want to come and stay in the next few days.

How do confirm my cottage booking?
After checking availability, please proceed to on line booking. Here you will be able to make a booking and sign the Terms and Conditions. A deposit of 30% is required which must be sent to Mennabroom within 5 working days of making contact. Payment is not made on line, and can either be made by calling with your card details or arranging a BACS transfer. If the booking is less than 8 weeks away the payment must be made in full within 7 days. If however you would prefer,please telephone us to make your booking.
When is the outstanding balance due?
This is due 8 weeks before your stay and an invoice will be sent to you. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions (13)
Are dogs allowed in the cottages?
Yes. We allow one well behaved dog in The Byre, and two in The Shippon and The Tallet. These are charged at £20.00 each. Please provide your own pet beds and all the necessary equipment. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions (5).
Can changeover days be flexible?
During the summer season for a 7 night break, The Byre changeover day is Friday, The Shippon and The Tallet changeover day is Saturday. For short breaks and in the autumn, winter and spring, this depends on availability. Days can vary and if at all possible made to suit you.
What is Mennabroom Cottages’ cancellation policy?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions (10). We advise all our guests to take out insurance to cover their booking in the event of cancellation.
How do I confirm my bed and breakfast booking?
Please contact us after viewing availablillty on our on line booking page if you do not want to proceed via on line booking. We shall be happy to make your booking for you.
I wish to book one of your courtyard bed and breakfast cottages?
The cottages can be viewed on our website and are subject to availability and cannot be booked on line for bed and breakfast. There is a minimum 2 night stay and prices vary as to which cottage chosen. As a guide The Byre for 2 is around £95.00 per night.
How much deposit is required?
When a booking is made either on line or by contacting us, the first night's charge is taken as a deposit. The balance is due on departure.
What are your cancellation rules?
Should you have to cancel we shall do our upmost to relet your accommodation and send you a refund. You can cancel your accommodation free of charge up to two days of arrival. Within 2 days if not relet, the first night remains payable. If you have any concerns please take out holiday insurance.
